What is a Special Interest Group? (SIG) SIGs are formed by TESOL Greece members who have a shared interest, and would like to pursue that interest further. Members can sign up for a Special Interest Group at TESOL Greece events - there will be sign-up sheets for a variety of SIGs at all events this year. Although a Board member will help liaise between each SIG and the TESOL Greece Board it is hoped that these groups will run under the enthusiastic steam of its members. Some of the likely activities a SIG could be involved in include the organising of special events, contribution of articles to the Newsletter and the website, meetings at larger TESOL Greece events and advocacy for the SIGS interests within TESOL Greece at large. Currently there are four Special Interest Groups: Young Learners Special Interest Group Multimedia/CALL Special Interest Group ESP/EAP Special Interest GroupESP/EAP Special Interest Group Members are encouraged to start up interest in other SIGs.
